    Gateway to venture capital

Science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship are the pillars of Limburg policy. Wanting to create opportunities for knowledge-driven, innovative and technological sectors Limburg resolutely invests in a large number of high-quality and sector-specific science parks and incubators. After all, having the right infrastructure is crucial to help knowledge-driven businesses flourish, giving them all the growth opportunities they require.

In the science parks and incubators in Limburg, every innovative investor will find a tailor-made solution.

Flanders' Bike Valley

BikeVille is the incubator from Flanders’ Bike Valley, a bottom-up industry cluster. The cluster brings together actors in the field of bicycle & cycling sciences and technologies: public research organizations, private companies and specialized service providers in a Quadruple Helix format, including strategic stakeholders.Besides the inucubation offices and units, the infrastructure also includes a unique wind tunnel testing facility.

The former mine site of Houthalen-Helchteren has been transformed into an all-inclusive service centre for green businesses and organisations. 3,500 sq m of office space, 500 sq m of conference infrastructure and a CleanTech visitor centre: hence GreenVille is the ideal location for every ambitious and innovative CleanTech business.
